Shalani Carpets was established in 1987 as a small home based business specializing in installation of curtains, carpets and wall paper. From the humble beginning, the core business being retail, the company has grown exponentially to being one of the largest importer and stockist of carpet and rugs in Malaysia.

 

In 2003, the company moved its operations to its current location, a 2 acre site in Sungai Buloh. With the new increased storage capacity we have become the largest stockist of imported carpets. In 2012 we further acquired an additional warehouse with a total warehousing of 5 acres. For the broadloom business from an initial stocking of 5 ranges today we stock 85 ranges of carpets with a storage capacity of 1,000,000 square meters. Our broadloom carpets are catered for the residential, commercial hospitality and places of worship. Apart from stocking range, we are heavily involved in projects involving custom made carpets for hotels and corporate offices.
